Free focus and attention exercises

Focusing means keeping your attention on what matters and ignoring the rest. Albind offers two timed exercises: one based on the famous Stroop effect, where reading the word trips you up, and one where you have to spot the odd symbol fast.

It adapts to your level

Every exercise has dozens of levels. Albind starts at a difficulty that suits your age and level, then updates it after every round: it goes up when you do well and down when you struggle. At first it moves in big steps, then in small ones, so you settle at your best and keep improving.

Tips

Frequently asked questions

What is the Stroop effect?

It’s the difficulty we have naming the color of a word when the word names a different color, like RED written in blue. Answering with the color exercises attention control.

How long is an exercise?

40 seconds; in the morning wake-up, 30 seconds.

What changes at higher levels?

More colors, buttons that move around, bigger grids with near-identical symbols and, from level 14, an extra rule that switches during the exercise.
